The legal basis for the argument is as Justice Harlan writes in Terry vs. Ohio, namely that â€Å"concealed weapons create an immediate and severe danger to the public.† (Cornell, 2010) This is debatable under the traditional response that â€Å"guns don’t kill people, people kill people†.
